Clear covers for DX, XT and Mountain LX thumb shifters

Peeps,

I remember seeing someone on the forum had got the clear acrylic covers for thumb shifters remade. I have done a couple of searches, but no success, can anyone point me in the right direction as I need a couple of sets.

not sure if this is helpful, but i rember Gil-m reproduced the actual decal, you know the round silvery or black thing that says shimano xt, dx lx type thing,

Gil's Deore thumbshifter decals are very good, and difficult to tell from the originals when applied.

If you just need a clear protector on an existing decal then I've used a piece of clear 'helicopter' style tape before. Once applied it can be trimmed with a sharp scalpel, steady hand and some patience.
