Very Beautiful very rare 1938 Claud Butler 55cms C-T road frame refurbished by Catherine Neary at Dave Ma to frame tubesh Universal Cycle Centre Maltby.Beautiful ornate axe head cast lugs feathered by filing tapered to frame tubing a very time consuming process.Will take 27" or 700c wheels.Wonderful.Wonderful unique Claud Butler rear fork ends.A very fine example and the only one I have ever seen,it is more elaborate than the Hetchins Brilliant from the same period.You could build it up with modern or vintage components ad I would quite like it myself athough the collection is too big £400 ono
