Sorry Peachy I'm going to have to say no as my first ride on the track when I was around 12-13 was at Calshot Activity Centre on Southampton Water. The wooden track was the 1976 Skool Six Days track from Wembley shortened to fit into the old sea plane hanger at Calshot Spit. They ran a fleet of yellow Claud Butler track bikes which got me hooked on cycling, the photo is not me but you can see the bikes. Found the card at a bike Jumble for a couple of quid but it's one of those things that don't come up too often, if I do decide to part with it you're top of the list..Any chance that this is for sale?

Not sure what model mine was, maybe only 531 plain gauge with 26.? seat post, had a curved rear bridge and three point fork crown. Came as a swapsy from an older lad who hand painted it blue and lime green built up as a single brake fixie, his mate on a fixed Falcon they would race each other the 2½ miles to school...Adidas bags over the shoulder.. must have got wind of the NYC Messenger craze..Great find and great photo.
In 1980 I would have been sitting on a gas pipe Raleigh Arena!
