Claud Butler Oracle, original survivor. Now safe & sound

Thanks again Graham for the recommendation.... Stuart did a proper job! :D

Just a little play to finally finish this one off…. New shimano brake cables & outers to replace the ones damaged in it various trips around the country… Do I hear the purists cry “the loss of originality! ” never mind… :D

That's super minty! I like that it's a lower range model, mind you I go to the festival of the unexceptional & would rather have some quality autoshite than a Ferrari.

You may recognise my username, then.

So what happened to the ‘92 mint Oracle? Well after it’s first outing at Mountain Mayhem 2019 I had intended to show it over the following few years & we all know how that went. So it got relegated to spare for the kids resulting in some slight damage to the name graphic, a bit of crank rub and lots of zig zag scratches to the seat tube. Ah well, at least it’s was occasionally being used. Now it’s 2021 & although I’ve spent the previous 1000 years eating my pack-up during morning & afternoon paid breaks I find myself working for a firm that insists we take our paid breaks AND an unpaid half hour lunch!🙄. So now the Oracle is my lunchtime ride, quick half hour in the sunshine certainly put a smile back on my face.😁 0EA4470F-6E0B-43FA-9D8A-64908E76DC65.jpeg

Well here’s a proper use of a tea break, zig zags sorted 😁 02900DE9-E044-4FFD-B08A-3768B1B0FC65.jpeg
