Wondered if anyone here might like this before it hits eBay?
Original Chris King Steelset. Their heavy duty headset that will famously outlive any frame you put it in. Rare and beautiful thing, this is the early '99 - early 2000s bronze colour with white etched logos, later ones being a rather boring raw stainless. Super stiff 24mm stainless steel cups and races, standard top cap. All there, was used for a year or so to cure an oval head tube in a bike of mine and has sat bubble wrapped in my spares box ever since that frame lost a chainstay. Silky smooth bearings, races are mint, couple of tiny dings from removal.
Price wise, used ones are $3-400 in the states, so how's £200 posted.
