Retro Newbie
Full bike for sale, collection only from Hampton TW12. Looking for £150 collected + £55 for shipping with Paisley Freight. Will consider splitting down. Selling as I only have room for two bikes and have just got a "new" '92 Kona.
Although relatively recent, the geometry of this bike is pretty retro (long head tube and steep head angle), and obviously it is fully rigid. The fork is suspension corrected though, so you wouldn't mess it up by changing to a suspension fork. Lovely, comfortable, double butted Tange Infinity frame in XL/21" size - suitable for somone 6'+ only as it has along top tube. A real mile eater, with the current setup great on gravel paths and not bad on tarmac.
Currently running 1x8 speed - 36 tooth Zee chainring and 11-34 cassette (but will include shifter/derailleur/chainrings to switch back to 3x. Tyres are Conti Sport Contact 700c x 42. Lock on grips fitted. Otherwise, as per standard spec. Some scrapes and chipping on frame (especially near chainrings) but no dings.
