Carlton Lagoon Blue .

Looking for some help with this please gents. I am trying to find a paint number etc sample .
In the early stage of getting my Giro d'italia re finished .
Looking to use Lagoon blue for the main colour then white or yellow panels .Not going down the imchrome transfer route as they were not used on this model although Carlton brochures of the time state available in all finishes .
Nick at Lloyds is going to reproduce the Giro d'italia transfers .

Touring version of Giro .Built for 27 x1x1/4 wheels and bar end shifters . Present paint air dried only hence chips very easily .

I have been thinking of a professional resto and from memory a close match could be miamiblau a 70's VW colour L51C is the code

Mike I have copies of the catalogues but it is hard to get a colour match from one .To my eyes it more of a turquoise blue than a pale blue? .

Out tomorrow for nail varnish in shades of blue

the guy above has had a good stab at the colour, I wonder if he made note of the car colour he used.

After no look with different shades of nail varnish , i visited a local paint shop and came up with this .
RAL 5021 water blue .
