Had my bike stored in a parking garage for a year or two and recently got to cycle again, I wanted to change the seatpost but realised it was stuck after I managed two move it up around 2cms. Tried the boiling water a few times but it didn't work. (ice, freeze pump)
Searched the forum but not sure the carbon steel combination was mentioned (let me know if you
Is WD-40 put inside the water bottle cage hole and around the seatpost/frame then put the bike upside down work?
Will try the stem handlebar method as a lever too. Want to keep the seatpost.
