Cannondale Super V Raven 4000

Hi Guys
I’m looking for a bit of advice on the value of this circa 1998 classic Cannondale Super V Raven 4000.
The story was that I was going to overhaul the whole bike replacing all the bearings etc. and then sell it on as a complete package.
But during the process I noted a crack on the top headset bearing race therefore I had to rethink the plan.
I was not prepared to rebuild the bike and hide the defect and a repair could require specialist tooling to re-bore the bearing race once welded, so I intend to sell it as classic wall art maybe to dealer for a display unit….open to suggestions?
The bike has been stripped cleaned and rebuilt for the image.. it has “spin” tri-spoke wheels, CODA performance handlebars with DEORE XT levers, a CODA chain set, DEORE XT derailleur. A fatty SL headshock (not stripped), special side pull brakes.
your thought on what it's worth

This isn't really posted in the right bit of the forum. For sale stuff needs a price etc. You'd be better posting in the Retro MTB chat area. Maybe the Mods can move your post?
I've no doubt some knowledgeable folks on here will be able to help but sadly I'm not one.

Hello Rod,
Jonthefish is right, best to look into the retro mtb chat area. If your looking to get what you have into it back it’s best just to piece it out. The spin wheels, the cannondale coda motorcycle cranks, fatty headshok, unique rear alps shock, rear swingarm, all can get you a reasonable amount of money.

The frame front triangle can be sold by itself as wall art. If the rear shock iis working, and the cranks are in good shape then you should have no problem selling those since they are unique and becoming more rare to find them.

Don't know if a mod has moved the post here but this is the right place for it.
Anyway - my advice would be too split it for parts, the Coda chainset, Avid ultimate brakes, Spin wheels, Syncros seatpost etc are all nice stuff.
