Hi I just bought this but the frame is too large for me - I cleaned it up and it's quite striking! I wouldn’t be selling it on if it were my size - no way! As I picked up a bargain. If it doesn’t sell here for what I paid it’ll be on Gumtree for £295.

Frame is a Cannondale CAAD 5 19" made in USA
Quite good condition frame and cosmetically the fork.
The frame is quite special and looking at this ad from eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303675769325 (frame only no forks £395) it’s the only older MTB frame that can take 700c 27.5 and 29er wheels.

“ will accommodate 700c wheelset m up to 43mm CX tyres no problem Gravel & CX provenance The CAAD5 is most versatile aluminium frame to come out of Cannondale and the only old school traditional 26er frame capable of running 29ers, up to 30c, makes this a very unique and sought after unique amongst custom builders and special project enthusiasts.”

It has a Fatty Ultra DL Fork - Which I’ve pumped up and which so far is holding air - can also be locked out and used as a rigid fork - Has the original stem.

Deore Front and Deore XT M750 Rear 9 speed Sram Attack shifters.
Maugua Louise Front and Hayes Rear disk brake.
Easton Bars
Ritchey Seatpost
Cannondale cranks with shown pedals
The saddle WTB SST98 is mine and wont be included

I just want what I paid plus what I put on (Tyres and KMC Gold chain)

so £175 collected as is minus the saddle

or £150 without tyres, chain and saddle - or as a Frameset -
postage will be extra but I’m reluctant to post -

Rear wheel bearing are clicking
Front wheel has 1 spoke missing
No Grips

Re:

Postage option??
I'd be interested.

With the Headshock, do you mean it just won't lock out?
Or is there no bounce in the shock?

It locks as a rigid - as shown
But turn the switch and it deflates
I’ve no idea what to do with it - there’s a strange thing under the fork - but I tried turning it but no luck - I didn’t try hard - I’d have to have a look in the daytime

Have you blown the fork up ? That’s a air valve isn’t it?
I’ve no idea what it is - do I twist open to reveal a Schaeder valve ?

I tried to twist it open and it's too tight.
I will have to try again in the morning
but this is 100% a valve cap which reveals a valve which I pump up?
That explains why when not locked out as a rigid they go flat. I had no idea these were an Air fork

Re:

Well on my Fatty SL they have a valve exactly there. So I’d assume so. Bang about 100psi in to start and go from there
