Cannondale Alpine Series Bike...

Picked this up today... Any Cannondale guys know what model this is - one owner OG bike - Frame sticker says Alpine Series but no model number present? Deore gear group so I'm guessing a decent model level... Cheers

I would say it is a 1988 or maybe slightly earlier. If the catalogs are not in the archive here you will no doubt find them over on Vintage Cannondale. Nice bike. That head tube is huge..

I think you hit the nail on the head - looks like a 1988 SM700 - great condition as I didn't think it was that old!! Still got its Cannondale computer and toe straps in place! Many thanks!
