Can you identify this frame?

Picked up last night, degreased and generally cleaned, with some surface rust to be dealt with later.

Nervex Pro lugs and bottom bracket shell with Campagnolo rear dropouts at 120 OLD. Nice cut out fork crowns (never seen these before, custom job?) and wraparound seatstays. Overall seems to me mid 50s frame with some modifications, such as top tube cable guides, rear drops and various bosses added before repaint, but could be mistaken. Some very small remains of black & red decals on down tube, can't figure out what it could be - first letter P or D, longish name IMO. (Pemberton?)

Serial numbers on frame and forks match 55815. Any idea?

Superb! The lugs are the same as my 1957 Falcon Club Special.

Nervex Pro were very common mid 50s to mid 60s.
The cable guide on the bottom bracket appears to be backwards. Perhaps someone added the carrier lugs, was that a bottle cage boss? (not common in the 50s). Frame number could indicate year?

There are double water cage bosses on it and that bb cable guide is really made for front mech and should’ve on left side if you ask me. Puzzled by the small cable stop on left hand side of the down tube too

The stop would probably have been for early front changer designs which had a length of outer cable from a DT stop to a stop on the body of the changer. Totally superfluous in practice and they soon became obsolete with bare cable all the way.

The bottom bracket cable guide is in the right place, just backwards.

My 1957 Falcon has the same small cable stop on the left hand side of the down tube. It took me ages to find a Cyclo Benelux derailleur with the little bracket that holds the end of the outer cable. It was a four-speed x 2 derailleur.

I have also noticed that the Reynolds transfer has the gold base which only was added in 1973. It suggests a respray in the 1970s?
