Can anyone identify my Peugeot?

My restoration project on my Kona MTB has got me thinking about doing something similar with my old Peugeot road bike. I had it passed down to me by my Dad in the early 90s and I believe he'd had it quite some time by then. I pulled it out of the loft yesterday to take some pics, which was the first time I'd physically laid eyes on it in probably 10 years!

Before I can even think about restoring it, I need to know what it is. At best guess, I'd say it dates from the early 80s or even late 70s. I can't see a model name but the gears are Simplex, except for a Suntour AR II rear mech (I don't know if this is original to the bike or something my Dad changed) the brakes are Weinmann and it has '103 Carbolite' tubing. The dubiously tasted 'tiger stripe' Profile bar tape was my doing, I seem to recall the original stuff was yellow and very thin and shiny.

If there are any resident Peugeot buffs who can identify the bike from the pictures below, I'd be very grateful.

I have a sneaky feeling that in the UK it was sold as a Carbolite 103, but there again my memory is a bit foggy

Amazing what a spot of bored Googling can turn up, I appear to have solved my own mystery! Unless I am mistaken, the bike appears to be a 1985 Peugeot P10PG Loire tourer, finished in 'Misty Blue'. Does anyone on here have any experience of these bikes?

Good bit of googling. The product ID code is on the chainstay as you can see but aside from the px models they usually had another name

double check the tubing near the headset. I had a couple of these come into the shop for repair/replacement in the mid 1990s having failed about 10mm behind the head tube welds, I can only assume form overcooking in the manufacture.

Will do. The bike is actually sat in my Dad's loft, where it got stashed when 15ish year old me stopped using it because all the gears were worn out and slipping.... I'm now 36! It'll happily stay there until I get round to starting the restoration project, but I'll be sure to check the frame thoroughly before investing any cash into it.
