Campagnolo vintage hub advise Model/age?

Hi can anybody advise me on the model/year of my Campagnolo hubs? front and rear.

Blimey not seen a steel Gran Sport hub for many years........they were way before my time so that a good few years before the 70's LOL

Alloy ones look like Nuovo Tipo from the 70's with the winged logo with Campagnolo underneath and no oil hole....

There should be a date stamp on the axle locknuts / cones if original.

The front wheel is date stamped 1956 :shock: is that a Nuovo tipo? its on a Fiamme rim
and im intrigued to know more about the Gran sport hub? its on a AVA rim??

The front is a Gran Sport

The rear is the Nuovo Tipo

Some, mainly the older models, will have a stamp on the cone with a number for the year. For instance "CAMP 60" is 1960. However since cones are easily swapped out this really only works with hubs that can be verified as original.
