Campagnolo Croce D'Aune Chainset. Looks as new

nal

Retro Newbie
Campagnolo Vintage Croce D'aune Chainset 170mm (as new condition) 80's-90's. I am not sure on age or quite what this chainset is? The chainrings are campagnolo but definitely not from this originally. I got on a vintage Colnago but I swapped to an older model. This is a gorgeous bit of kit with no scratches on the very highly polished arms, could be NOS? I have seen similar on eBay for £115 but will take £80

If you want any more pictures or details please let me know.

Cheers

these use a left hand threaded crank extractor, the same as the c-record cranks. BUT yours still have the self extracting bolts with them.
Absolute bargin at £80 & they look in mint condition from the photos.
hope this helps

Its CROCE D' AUNE not Chorus, even better bargain

Which did trickle down to Chorus after the very brief lifespan of CDA. I had an early 90s bike that was definitely Chorus that had the same cranks.

^ This.

Originally CDA, but after that was shelved they became 2nd generation Chorus (aka Chorus RS), 1992 - 1994.

On the reverse of the cranks is a date code, two digits in a box: what is it?
