Campag Crank Bolt too big for Socket to fit inside - Help

Previous owner used a vintage 15mm campag crank bolt on a 91 Kona cinder Cone greasealer BB.

I need to ditch the grim old 200gs Chainset thats been stuck on it.. however I can't fit a standard socket inside the crank arm to grip the bolt. It's as if there's not enough room for the rim of the socket to fit inside? :x

Yes Ive tried two different extractors, most seem for a 14mm shimano though. Dont really want to spend out on a 'peanut butter wrench'. Was hoping someone new a socket brand from experience that had extra thin walls

Re:

Have you tried using of the thin pipe style sockets? They usually have a hole through each end for a bar to fit through for leverage and would usually have a different sized socket head at each end of the tube. These are usually pretty thin and maybe will fit?
