Hi all,
I am selling my recently acquired c.1977 Claud Butler Cresta which is in good working order but needs new bar tape (previous owner made a very ham fisted attempt to wrap). It is in tidy condition with the usual marks and chips acquired over thirty years, it was stored for many years before the previous owner had it. It has new tyres/tubes and a new inner gear cable so should be trouble free for many miles. I am selling due to having to have an operation in the near future and therefore not being able to restore/use it myself.
The specification is as follows:
c.1977 21” Claud Butler Cresta frame forks (531 front forks as per catalogue)
Auris Sport saddle on Birmalux alloy post
ITM Competition drop bars on AVA alloy quill stem
Suntour Honor 5 speed gears
Weinmann 730 Brakes
Unknown make cottered chainset
Unkown make quill pedals
Rear Wheel:
Small flange Atom flip flop hub on 27 x 1 ¼ Milremo alloy rim
Front Wheel:
Small flange Le Tour front hub on 27 x 1 ¼ Milremo alloy rim
