I would say that's around a 92 or 93 Catalyst, size I think is 20. Definitely within the period when Paul himself was still in charge. Difficult to tell how much of those marks would clean off or whether it's multiple spots of surface rust.

It's a bit difficult for a Brit to take in that it's in the same state as you, but still it's 900 miles away!

See if he'll take it down to a bike store and then ask the closest store to him if they'll break it down and ship it. I did that and it worked very well, the bike shop didn't even charge me anything.
