Retro Guru
Hi all, Having not much knowledge of suspension forks i would like some enlightenment on the whole issue, especially uk brand's. The only ones i know of are pace and use but are there any others. Also steerers, are they interchangable. Say i bought a fork with a 1 1/8" steerer can it be changed to 1". Parts availability and also seviceability are important factors. Thanks Mick...

believe x-lite made a sus fork, memory slightly hazy though.

pace steerers are interchangeable - certainly the older ones.

Ohhh, if only I'd known.......(((banging head against office wall)))

2 bloody pairs.........2 bloody pairs.......!!!!

I had a pair of USE forks in about '94. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that from experience they were better than the RC35s of the time.

I'd really like to get my hands on another set sometime.

These are the Pro-Circuit forks (this is missmyfat's Wicked). I've had 2 pairs of these and they were bloody brilliant.

Wish I still had a pair

USE Forx

Got a set of the USE Air XCR forks and they are just so smooth and ramp up nicely, Ultra stiff CNC machined and sub 3 pounds too! I believe they pulled prodution as sales were poor due to the very high price which I believe was £600 ish. Mine are way better than anything even Fox currently on the market.
