Braided brake hoses

My old hoses were long due replacement and CRC are doing a special on stainless braided hoses so I ordered a few metres.Is it a straightforward swap?I used stainless braided brakelines on my motorbikes in the past and found them far better than rubber.

I had a bit of a struggle fitting some braided hoses as the braids cept unravelling making it hard to slide into the fixings. Once I got the nack was easy enough.

One thing I found was that dome braided hose was a slightly larger diameter so didn't want to go at all, so look out for that too.

Being a straightforward swap depends on what you've got & what you've bought as standard black hose came in 2 od's as does braided.
So if you've got 5mm & bought 5mm all is good. If you've got 6mm & bought 6mm all is not good.
