Wanted Bottom bracket tool help

Hi all,

dows anyone know the specific 8 notch bottom bracket tool I'd need to get mine off pic related, the outer dia. There's a few just don't want to end up with the wrongn.

It's a an old Shimano bottom bracket

It's called a Shimano XTR tool. Park do them; it also fits Middleburn crank lockrings.

Yes, that should fit. Use some big washers and an M8 bolt to hold the tool onto the bottom bracket for the crucial loosening - saves skinned knuckles! Apologies if I am teaching you to suck eggs, but remember that the RHS bottom bracket side has a left hand thread.
