£650 is a bit pricey for bonty race frame, even if it is purple. This one is advertised as a reader racelite, but doesn't have the milled headtube, so it's a standard race or.

I think I'd go with the new race lite in the same size and colour for cheaper..:

FWIW I repainted a frame a couple years back in RAL 5004 (black blue). It was black in low light and then a sort of deep purple/blue once daylight hit. I'm thinking it might not be too far off this shade maybe

It's closer to a purple. Something like a dark "black berry".

I'm tempted, but I'm in the UK and it's $1200 by the time I've paid import duty and vat...
