Apart from the bit where may back is in agony just looking at the saddle, then the stem, then back to the saddle...

It looks perfect. It´s my favourite Bontrager color. Even though i don´t care much for the mag 21 imprecise handling (and maintenance) it looks perfect under bontragers. Actually a gold mag21 would also look cool on this bike.

Cheers @Prodigal Son - I have a set of gold ones as well - but having gone to the faff of colour matching these..... they are staying

Shake down ride today - probably should have nipped up the crank bolts being heading out - but I'd stashed a big enough hex in the day sack to sort it. Seatpost had to go up a bit and bars rotated a little. Rear mech indexing needs a tweak. XTR Brifters need to be rotated a little more - and for those eagle-eyed amongst us - yes the cables need clipping and capping.
The tyres are temporary - ish. They really look the part and might stay on while I pootle on it. I have a choice of Smoke/Dart or IRCs when i take it properly offroad.

Really , really nice and lovely scenery too. Great to see you out enjoying it after such an extended build.

For proper off road tyres I've been really impressed with my conti cross kings.

I’ve also fitted the IRC tyres and Onza HO pedals.
