built this wheelset for my kona firemountain single speed, recently purchased a new bike and so these have been lying dormant for a while. would rather they went to a good home rather than my garage.
Looking for £90 but am open to offers via pm.
The wheelset consists of 2007 Hope mono hubs, built by my local bike shop onto mavic xc717 rims with dt swiss competition double butted spokes. They are very light and very strong, ideal for a retro xc bike or just an upgrade to one of the most competent wheelsets you can build. The wheels are running true and due to the lack of use the bearings are smooth as new.
They are v-brake compatible only, and have only been used for 6mnths during last summer. The sale includes both Tioga Factory XC 1.95 tyres and Qr's, these tyres are a perfect all round tyre for both summer and winter conditions.
The wheelset is worth well over £150 for the components alone, therefore i am going to put a buy it now of £130 which will include free postage.
