Cane Creek 110 just arrived in the post, 'tis a thing of beauty.

Out with the dremel to split the crown race, makes life so much simpler.

Headset pressed in and forks fitted... finally get a sense of scale and how it's going to look.

Had the frame and forks with the front wheel in, the seat post and saddle (an old WTB SST 9 in the back room, fitting the brakes when the Mrs walked in and the first words out of her mouth were "that seat's a bit tatty isn't it?!"

I of course took that to mean 'you should get a nice new one'

It turns out the bearings were shot in the Goldtec hubs, so I ordered up a full set of bearings for front and rear and a new rear axle as it's been tweaked and is stronger now apparently.

Guess that's my afternoon sorted!
