Got a bmx when I was 8, that was used for everything. When I was 12 I got a £100 ' 97 appolo equito, fully (very) rigid but all shimano basic kit, heavy but rode well and never went wrong. Silver with purple ano tranz x extras. A year later I 'upgraded to a £600 Raleigh, load of shite equiped with sram, went back to the shop more than I rode it. 2 years later I got an Identiti dr jeckyl.
The appolo was in regular use until stolen from tesco 3yrs ago
The raleigh finally died after 2 years and only finnishing 8 rides
The Identiti is now owned by a freind and is abused regularly
