That DynaTech is absolutely beautiful, I remember seeing one of those back in the day. I also remember your username from UKSaabs many years ago too.

Have meant to add a build post but got more excited just getting on with them than anything else. This is my first build...more to keep me busy with my time off at work. Actually built up two GT STS, identical 18" frames. Went with the minor theme of UK components on one, and as much US on the other, whilst adding in the sexy forks, that only a nation as quirky as the french could produce.
SO here is my effort - I'll enter just the US version for now. Stripped back to bearings and rebuilt with a mix of retro and modern components, based more on what I thought was cool rather than any other reasons. I'm not a real MTB'er from back in the day, but enjoy a project. This is just a boulevard cruiser (hence the post lockdown Cannes background...).
Spins (love or hate them..), fournales cobra forks, SRAM 9 speed SRD XO, White industries gear set, head set, and Paul brakes. Anyway - hope you like as working on a few more to keep me occupado.

Really crappy pics and bad staging...but at least managed to get them on here eventually!

Special thank to forum member ishaw as he really helped highlight some cool old components I had not even registered.

Those pedals: a whole new interpretation to 'platform'..!

BTW, there's a maximum of two pics allowed in the competition, so pick your favorites :)

Those pedals are actually pretty awesome if you are pedalling to the beach...

Tried to delete middle two but wont allow me for some reason? I want to take a better photo really...doesnt do it justice.

ti_pin_man's 1995 Clarke Kent Ti - AKA 'Kryptonite' or 'kermit' depending on your viewpoint. :)

I bought the frame in 2015 and it was always intended to be my hack bike, no garage queen and so its dirty and keeps its original patina. over the years it got treated with xtr, Clarke kent cranks and stem (both pretty rare), it briefly has a judy but now has the much better performing Bombers and yes its green.

As a hack bike its never going to compete with shiny garage queens but it has soul, its really used to take the kids to the park and occasionally locked up outside shops. :)

It has a build/intro thread just this week in the chat forum. I'll add a link with an edit shortly.
