i have a very large mercian frame and a large phoenix of eastbourne frame, they are both currently at the paint shop to be restored in new condition. can't remember sizing at the moment, but could find out and you could have them finished in colour scheme of your choosing, however neither will be going that cheap so maybe not right for your needs- pm me if you want to know more

wow ! Well I've loved Mercians since the 80s - is it a 531 ? It would be a great bike to own but sounds more of a project than a "fix and go" which is all I'm set up to do really living in a flat without much workspace - how much do you want for it as is ?
I'm afraid I don't know anything about Phoenix of Eastbourne so am unable to comment !

I think it is an 80's mercian made for a tall gentleman has a very high seat collar and head tube above the crossbar line. it is 753 tubed from memory, been sat at the paintshop a while. i have requested it be finished the same as this frame I have pictured here.

re the phoenix, they are independent shop in eastbourne who made some high end steel frames. it has campagnolo drop outs and is similar to the mercian style of frame, just bought nos frame transfers

let me know if you need to know more, I can do a full build for you if you wish as have various groupsets on standby

Absolutely beautiful but a respray and a "famous name" isn't going to happen on my budget - I need to be on the road for c300 quid - looking for something shabby but still rolling really ...

please note the stem has been flipped since picture so looks a lot better on the eye

The Raleigh looks my size - last Raleigh I owned was a Chopper !

Your Ridley looks a lot of bike for the price but the tech is too advanced for me !

The Ridley is a nice bike and the technology is not that bad but i do know what you mean
