Bit of a loophole here, Guiseppe Marinoni was born and raised in Italy, trained to build bikes there, then emigrated to Canada. Then he built road bikes by hand in Montreal. Also, in the late 80s and early 90s, a very limited number of mountain bikes with lugged Columbus Mountain Tubes. @Ingola found one recently, and she is bellissima!
My offering to the Italian gods of retro mtbs. Last seen in anger at Mountain Mayhem and so hope to race it at another one sometime. Full XTR, my favourite SID forks, creramic rims, Panaracer Fire XC 1.8s for racing and a self covered Flite SLR saddle. Would love some matching Celeste grips but not found any yet. This is my absolute best mtb.
Couldn't find any records of this bici so I'll do my part to enrichen the web with Campy Euclid Vicini. Sloppy build but the photos turned out decent so here you go.
My highlights are the majestic Modolo bars and the classy Campagnolo rear derailleur protector. I still want to replace the cable housing with the original pearly white flavour, add some more appropriate grips and front derailleur. German tires will stay, they are awesome
