Hi guys! So I came across a bianchi super grizzly that I’m having trouble deciphering the serial. It’s either an 86 or an 87, but the components are definitely not 87 and I can’t find any info on 86. This frame came with deer head XT derailleurs and shifters, suntour roller cam rear brake, sr seatpost, suntour Xc sport levers & hubs and all parts with a manufacture code are early 86( suntour lever and hubs don’t have a code but those started in 87 I believe) Does anyone have an 86 catalog? Is this a frame put together with spare parts?
Serial code for the frame is DS630351 which is on the seat tube and there is a 17 on the bottom bracket. Just a lone 17 there. Any expertise on bianchi would be much appreciated!
