Best way to thin out a collection /number of bicycles .

I have four classic bicycles which I will never ride . I have had the pleasure of owning each of them for a good number of years . They date from the 1950's and 60's .Three are fixed wheel/single speed & the other ten speed . All are built with period components .

They really need to go as space is another issue .
I moved my Saxon twin tube on a few months ago to a fellow collector .Both parties were happy with the deal . Do I part each one out or sell as a complete machine. Given the present situation is it the wrong time? I am not a fan of distance selling via the auction sites .
Any thoughts welcome .

Thank you in advance .
Paul.

You could contact transport museums, the London Museum, even museums like the V&A, Science and Design Museums to see if they would be keen on donations, especially if these bikes are completely period correct.

Only advertising them for sale would show the route, list them and see, if your desperate and they are not selling then breaking them may be an option, also requires less space.
