Best 'classic style' hybrid around £500?

Hi all,

I am hoping someone wonderful out there can help? Firstly I am pretty clueless on bikes, and secondly I understand that the type of bike I am after isn't perceived as the best quality. Taking that into account...

I am after a bike for a small commute that involves flat roads and a few hills. I am specifically after a hybrid in a 'classic' style. For me the style is just as important as the quality, but obviously I don't want something completely useful.

I have had a look around and come up with the following...

I like the style of all of these bikes, but I have no idea how they compare to each other. I would be very grateful to anybody that can advise on the above or even suggest a bike that I may have overlooked?

Possibly not that helpful but I recently picked up a raodified orange p7, fitted with c700 wheels, for little over 200 quid. Perhaps looking at used rigid mtb's fitted with slick/road tyres might be another option, one that would probably give you a better bike ultimately?
