Anybody know the best size for my RaceFace Turbines. At the moment i have a 113mm in, but after riding the other day my Knees feel a bit dodge. Dont know if it is that or the fact that i haven't ridden the MTB for some time only the road bike, and the difference in pedal systems is causing it. I have got Time Atac pedals on the MTB and Look Delta's on the road bike. Thanks. :?

107/108mm for LP's and 120mm for the other.

113 would be perfectly fine though. Be like running modern kit.

Pedals might cause problems on your knees if SPD and not quite set right. If you have cleats move them back slightly or try a slightly different rotation.

Or probably just because you've started riding again and they're not used to being stretched as much.
Give it some time first.

The manual for Turbine LP cranks says that all RF cranks are
designed to be used with 113mm bottom brackets.

Don't have the requisite 5 posts to direct link so here:

That's the modenr ISIS type bottom bracket.

I have the Square taper one somewhere.

1996 say 107-110 for Compact and Standard BCD Turbine LP's

RaceFace Turbine RS (the bottom bracket) for this was available in 107/110 and also a 113

just for completeness and future reference

Turbine IB's are 118-122.5 for compact and standard bcd

The Turbine RS (bottom bracket) for this was only available in 120mm)

(and the Road version 130 bcd is 107-110)

Looked at the BB that came has standard with the bike and Turbines, 68 x 113. Must be my cleats that are shot!

Good evening

I am going to install a set of Race Face XC Ride Cranks on a 97/98 FSR with a 73mm bottom bracket but need to sort the axle length.

Do all Raceface cranks use a 113 mm ISIS axle as the earlier pdf suggests as I have seen on Bikepedia that the FSR uses a 108mm although that may be for a square taper?

Many thanks
