Bargain of the day - Fizik saddle

Popped to Halfords (yes the shame of it).

Bargain bin, a brand new Fizik Pave £10
(not exactly top of the range but seemed a good price).

Took to till rings up at £3. Assistant rings bike desk....
'he says yeah ok we'll call it 3 quid !!!!!!!'

Used to be top of their range....

Mighty fine saddles. And replaceable frame aswell... May even have a spare Ti frame if you ended up with a cromo one.

Picked up a new Flite Ti from my local branch for £10, the chap rang it through without batting an eyelid, didn't know/care what it was, joy

They also had Middleburn hardcoat chainrings for £5 each, Hope LED1's for £25, hope LED2s for £50. I can only think that either someone was having a laugh or the company was experiencing major cashflow issues and was liquidating stock. They had some stupidly priced Campag road stuff but I couldn't afford it all at the time :cry: Needless to say I now have all the Hope lights I need and a smattering of other loveliness.
