How does a K2 differ from standard? They were entry/below mid range models BITD right?

check gt brochures on this site in archive and gallery but the k2 was the 1990 version of the 91 karakoram elite and came with deore dx groupset ritchey vantage wheels pink and yellow label they were just under the avalanche so 3rd from top of the range in 1990 and £550 if memory serves
