Hi folks,
As had the rest of the weekend, today dawned sunny and very warm.
I had a little ride to the start at Arundel, and being a bit early, I had time to take some photos before the start of the ride.

Reliable as ever, Mick (Godders) turned up, on his trusty old Cannondale bike. Unfortunately, no one else bothered, so we set off through Arundel, heading north towards Whiteways, and a lovely view, looking south east.

Then we dropped down towards Amberley, turning left half way down, and heading to Bury and thankfully smaller and quieter roads. On the way, passing the Roman Villa at Bignor.

There's some lovely country houses along here, was enjoying the flattish route and thankfully a lot of it was shaded.

Stopped off for the obligatory photo or three at Burton Mill pond. Cracking spot!

A few miles after which, we were in Amberley and at the tea rooms. Surprisingly given the day, we managed to get a table.

Unusually for Mick, I didn't see any cake!

Food and drink consumed, I decided to go 'Strada Bianche' and take in some off road riding, rather than the boring main roads back to Arundel.

Bfore heading back through the quiet roads of Wepham, Burpham and Warningcamp, back into Arundel and the end of the 30 mile ride.
Great ride with a good mate, unbelievable weather and big helpings of cake.
What more could you ask for?
