I like browsing the internet just to see what vintage road bikes people are selling, ( i own a Harry Hall), ebay etc and i always see a lot of colnago bikes and a lot of the same makes but rarely any Harry's so does this mean they're rare?

I'm sure you know Harry Hall owned a bike shop and didn't make frames, he spent more of his time in his car behind races waiting for punctures or breakdowns.

They don't come up too often I guess because they are no it collects bike and end up in the back of sheds. If its from my era pound to a penny yours is one of Mike Kowal's

I did hear Harry was using a couple of different builders in the 70s one of them was Roger Kowalski of Clive Stuart fame and later Brian Rourke. Possibly Paul Washington was another builder Harry used. So, some very nice quality frames. I wouldn't say they are rare but the earlier ones are less common.

Here's one I had from the late 70s

Brian Rourke never built a frame in his life. His early ones were Roger Kowalski then Paul Washington and now Jason. Roger Kowalski built many HH frames in the shop basement. HH frames were very popular around Manchester area while Harry kept shop, not sure about the current situation.

Harry filing, Roger building.

If that was reference my post, I was pointing out that Roger also built Brians frames. Looking back I can see it wasn't worded very well
