I got my LTS from a mate..with rear damper stripped.
I got a new rear elastomer and fitted it up but with left over bits.
It sits very low and there is 2 inch sag even with no one on the bike..and with my 80 kilo on it, it leaves about ½ inch travel .
I have an alloy spacer tube left over, which does fit snide the elastomer...but when that is fitted, it is like a lock..it won't move at all. I reckon that someone put it in after the old unit was knackered, to stop it saying to the ground.
I have already searched the net and what I have seen so far, this alloy tube is not present.
So any one with pics, close up, and under the alloy cap ..inside th 'top hat' appreciated.
Stripped pics even better...or if you are feeling really keen, if someone could open theirs up for a service..and see if that alloy tube is in there.
