recently my calender at work has been all over the place so i have struggled to get anything organised for a ride.
jimbo and tiboltrider have a ride on the 2nd of october near Haldon which i can't make but i can ride on the following sunday, the 9th.
so anyone want to come out for a ride? was thinking a New Forest loop, nothing painful, it's generally quite flat so was thinking of rolling around my usual route from Brockenhurst to Burley, to Lyndhurst then back to Brockenhurst, the route is 22 to 26 miles depending which way we go. nothing remotely technical, combination of fire roads and some country lanes, easily doable on a cross bike if you're that way inclined.
there are a few carparks to choose from as the start, and i was thinking we could knock out the route then have a pint in one of the local pubs afterwards.
the 22mile route is usually done in around 1 hour 40mins on my own so that tells you how quick it is, also it is possible to do this whole route on top ring!
don't expect anything exciting, just a nice forest ride.
