Anyone admit to owning just one bike ?

I popped my head round the door about six years ago when I had one bike. Five years ago I became a member with two. Many have passed through my hands since, and it's getting worse. I'm currently struggling to keep it under ten...

I did have just one bike when we downsized and there wasn't a good place to keep multiple bikes. Although, I have had more than one bike at most points, I only ride one, I get another, sell the previous and repeat. I like buying second hand, gutting them, cleaning them up and servicing and selling it on even if I make a slight loss. Currently I am certainly limited to one bike due to space and it is nice having one which does pretty much everything I need...mostly.

Now the curse of retro bike has been cast upon me and I have 3

I came here with one bike ..... got up to about 25 at one point ....... back down to single figures ..... now creeping up again.

Would I be happier with just one bike? No.

I have more than one surfboard,skateboard, vehicle and shoes.... one bike

But possible, I only had one as a youth but tbh that was down to money

I joined RB with one 90s MTB and now I've got about 7 or 8ish built bikes and a handful of projects that I've yet to start nevermind finish.

I have made conscious effort to not be a owner of a handful of working bikes and only ride the one. So I rotate between 4 or 5 different bicycles, and have two favourites at the moment. 3. 3 favourites.

I can't imagine having one bike to do it all, even though I have no doubt I've got one bike that CAN do it all, but I like having different riding characteristics.

I could probably make do with 3 bikes.
