Did you try Buyee.jp? Costly (not accounting for the S/H and customs fees), but they successfully handled everything to timely ship me a bike I bought on Yahoo! Japan Auctions last year. Oh yes, I'm located in France.

I just registered with Buyee.jp, but they say that this might be a prohibited item and that they'll mail me within 24 hours to let me know what they decide.

Perhaps, in the wrong hands, this is considered to be a "dangerous item" ? :facepalm:
