I have on my road bike ( yes road ) an Answer Rocker seatpost 27.2, the clamp section has started to spin on the post section. Although I have a new post to fit, I would like to sort it out. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Assuming you can remove the head and that it is not solid alloy could you remove the head and epoxy back in place then drill and rivet the head to the shaft.
