Good Afternoon
This is the last purchase and last project because there isn't anymore room in the garage. I was looking at vintage Cannondales Caad 3, Caad 4, Caad 5,Caad 6, Caad 7, Caad 8 but their prices were out of my price range. Specialized does'nt make m2 or m4 road frames anymores, my choice went with Trek but a Trek Alpha 2300 SL entirely hand made in the USA.The whole frame plus fork, plus head set and stem weights 2410g, not bad for a 24 years old bike. The rear wishbone and smoothed welds were also determining factors in my choice
The next upgrade will be the removal of the horrendous icon stem and replace it by a 3TTT Titanium or Cinelli Grammo strada stem, seat post will be Easton Carbon. The transmission will be DA 7800, FSA Carbon or FC7800 cranks , wheels will be Zipp or Mavic.
Have a nice day
Very best regards and stay safe
