I really shouldn't be thinking about another bike, but I've almost finished all my current ones to exactly how I want them and am getting an itch I might need to scratch...
I have almost a full ultegra 6400 groupset, bars, stems, wheels... more or less everything except frame and fork.
I already have plenty of steel frames (531, 653, SLX, etc), and modern carbon, so am thinking I "need" something alloy (or oversized steel), or maybe even early carbon. Compact or at least sloping TT, shortish wheelbase, "fast" handling and a good climber. Must have DT gear lever bosses. I ride a 58cm in "standard" sizing, so something similar to that in compact / sloping size.
I quite fancy en early Giant TCR (like Mike Muz's ONCE version), but I don't think they ever had DT lever bosses?
Any other ideas what might fit the bill? Anyone got anything (either F+F or full bike considered)?
