In other news the FM is now completely built up in all its glory. Had a quick ride but need to adjust the front brake and the mech.
It rides pretty nice now I've stacked the spacer under the stem.

When I get the chance I'll weigh it then switch the focus of the thread to the Kula build and progress.

You could deffo save weight at the cassette by the looks of it. Nice "spinny" place to save weight also

Is drive side a pre requisite for all projects?

Anything I buy now needs to be transferable to the Kula eventually. I'm unsure what drivetrain to go with, xtr cassette is still heavy and a lot of cash, I've read that SRAM are compatible but lighter and cheaper? Or at least similarly priced?

New mech and shifter if so then I guess?
