AMP F-2 Fork in search of a new frame

Greetings from across the pond. Just doing some quick searching, it seems you all know more about AMP Research products than anyone state-side. I've had a F-2 Fork on my SuperGo Access Max frame for the past 15 years, but the frame has now been retired due to a cracked head tube.

So now I'm looking to swap over components, and I'm finding that the current generation of frames are not really suitable for a fork with only 60mm travel like the F-2. Does anyone have any particular suggestions for a hard-tail frame well-matched to this fork?

Alternatively, is there any way to upgrade a F-2 to the longer travel F-4? I suspect the answer is "no" but figured it can't hurt to ask.

I suppose if you are upgrading to a contempory frame you should get a new fork. AMP forks were pretty good 20 years ago but would let down a modern bike. It would be like putting a wheezing sidevalve engine in a modern car.
I'd either sell the fork and buy a modern fork or look for a nice early 90's frame and build it up with period parts including your fork.
Have a look around the classifieds- plenty of nice frames that would suit that fork.

Thanks for the link. I had found AMP's web-site previously, but not that page.

I think the thing to do is find a suitable 90's era frame to "house" the F-2 fork and other components - I just missed getting a Titus frame yesterday that went for $320 on eBay. :x Then maybe I'll consider a new bike with full suspension, or perhaps get a Surly Pugsley.
