This is the Ex Rollodes ex Mudking B3
Back in the day when suspension first came out i was intrigued by The AMP products. I couldn't justify a B3 so just bought some F3 forks and threw those on my Marin. The Marin was treated like an unloved toy for a decade, ridden and not maintained at all, only replacing tyres and tubes when needed. Fast forward to 2011 me and the misses started a lot more cycling mainly along cycle paths and increasing distances. Slowly our bikes starting giving up, years of lack of maintenance and old parts meant we were wearing parts out faster than we could replace them. I bought a new Trek (idiot), but they didnt have her size, so she soldiered on with us stealing parts from the Marin to keep her old Trek roadworthy. In the course of researching where to get some parts i found this website. Realised 1) i had been a muppet for buying the new bike 2) You can (could) still get AMP spares.
I had a plan to rebuild the Marin, and replace all the bushes on my F3. Then got hold of a spare F3 and then i found a B3 frame for sale. I got that in my hands, put the two together and found the medium frame was too small for me (hmm more research should have been done) Finally thanks to Rollodes sale I now finally have at last my B3 in large. Only took 19 years.
Only ridden around the garden so far
