With minimal modification, the fork could be used as truing stand, obviously only for the front wheel.

Also, once I saw a guy that had it mounted with an old rim, and put cellotape between alternative spokes, linking then together. This way, the wheel was working as a windmill, and with a dynamo he was generating enough light to find the keys for his house entrance.
