Alpinestars Almega DX 1991, reborn.

I had to do it. I bought an Almega DX Yellow fluor again, after 31 years of my first one. Almost everything original. Only tyres, grips, pads and left shifter is not original.
I already bought new stickers from a nice company here in Elche ( I'm from Girona/Barcelona area), and I'm looking for a god pair of shift/brake combos. Maybe XT or DX. ALL the rest is original. I also bought on wednesday a pair of Skinwall Panaracer Smokes.
And, improtant, this bike has no fisures.
I bought an identical one in 1991 (when I was 16), and I had my frame replaced because a fisure in 1994-1995 for a non EOS frame. This second bike defeated in a fire in year 2000. Then I've had many others , but now, with 47 years on my back, I needed to do it. I have enjoyed all mountain bike related things since 1989 when I started with a 3x6sp MTB. I even design bikes since 2000's so i needed a hooby like that.
What things would ou change apart of the named ones?

What would you think about installing a Thomson seatpost and a nicer seat? And no more changes?

Pretty nice. The neon colors on these bikes are super sweet. I would source the year specific DX parts and the original pedals and call it a day.

New pics. I replaced the "hutchinson" 2010's tyres for Panaracer smoke 9's classic tires. In my opinion it looks a lot better.
I also acquired a new set of Brake/shiftt combo XT 90. As you can see, left shifter is an 2000's unit and brake lever was "cutted" to fit the new shifter.... Which other changes would you suggest?
I was thinkimg on some Ringle skewers? A Maniotu 2 fork? Some Controltech or similar stem? An straight seatpost + flite seat?
Or I should keep as it is, as original as possible?

After some improvements, what do you think about it?

- Syncros Hardcore seatpost, in very good condition. From wallapop in Spain. 75€ all inc.
- Selle italia Flite saddle, almost NOS. Very good Ebay deal from Italy. 45€ all inc.
- Syncros Cattleprod silver stem, Nos 140mm, 1-1/8" with an adapter for my 1-1/4". 50 € all included from Italy (Ebay).
- New headset Shimano XT also NOS from france. Around 52 € shipped.
- Ritchey Skewers. Cheap solution 12 €. Not perfect time but ....
- Ritchey handlebar WCS. It's 2001 but it was 8€.....
- Panaracer Smoke Classic 30 € each.
- I have new rims decals ordered.
- I bought a cheap chrome plated chain from YBN. Not bad....

This hobby is very dangerous. I can't stop looking for new pieces!!
At them moment I'm stopping here. I had new decals, as I exposed here, but pink colors is making me doubt. I prefer bad decals in right colors, that new ones with "strange " colors.
Any other ideas? I has in observation a Mnaitou Three at good prices and very good condition, but I also like the straight cromo fork.....
