Why do I always find tasty shiny things on here - after they have been sold :x

Likewise with ebay - why do I always find interesting retro bikes that are a million miles away, for collection only, which completely cancels out the bargain?
Grrr... do we have a *bangs head against wall* smiley?

If anyone would like to sell me summat interesting with an 18" frame, preferably with a wheel at either end, and you don't live in Shetland or Cornwall - gizza shout yeah? ;)

pm'd you ;), oh and have a free

Thanks to RAFbikes and Orange71 for the PM's, but I'm really looking for something ready to ride, but I'll have a serious think.
No need for high-end kit, decent mid range spec will do for me (I can always upgrade to shinier stuff, providing I'm quicker off the mark in the 'for sale' section!)
Whatever it turns out to be will be mainly used for commuting/road duties so the less attractive to scrotes - the better.
If it helps... I'm based to the left of the West Mids.

Cheers all.
